What is the School?
Macquarie School of Biblical Studies has provided more than three decades of quality training for preachers, church leaders and other men and women with a passion for evangelism and teaching Bible classes and personal studies.
We look forward to being joined by others with a passion for evangelism to work together in training and serving for the future progress of the Lord’s work in Australia, and beyond.

Why become a student at MSOBS?
1. Excellent Training: We offer a wide range of educators with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
2. A Complete Curriculum: Teaching from every book of the Bible. Our goal is for graduates to understand, teach, preach and live sound doctrine.
3. Culturally Relevant: Cross-cultural missionaries adjust to a new culture. Training men and women in their own culture eliminates this.
4. Tuition is Free: Students come to MSOBS with the help of churches, working spouses, families, friends, grants or a combination of the above to provide for living expenses.
5. Cost effective: It is ten times more cost effective to train men and women in their own country.
6. Encourages men & women to work in Australia: More than 50% of those who go to the USA for training do not return to serve permanently in Australia. Local training avoids this problem.
7. Increases local Evangelism: Evangelism increases significantly when a training school is implemented. Students from MSOBS make disciples and help plant churches as part of their training.
8. Utilizes Local Talent and Resources: Australia is blessed with wealth and talent which MSOBS can utilize to the glory of God and expansion of His Kingdom.
